We collected our amazing Toyota Alphard Hybrid campervan yesterday from Milldown Campers. Wow! Is insurance an issue or expensive with these campers?

There is no issue getting insurance for these campers. We in fact work with quite a few insurers who are specialists in the field so you know you will be getting the best price for your insurance. We recommend using: Howdens modified Van insurance, Admiral, Adrian Flux,  Caravan Club and Just Kampers.

Do you offer Finance for your campers?

Unfortunately, we do not offer finance for our vehicles solely because you will be paying more to finance through us rather than a larger company. And at the end of the day we want our customers to get the best deal possible.

How long does it take to convert a vehicle?

From the point the vehicle reaches us, we aim to have it converted within 4-6 weeks. So for example if you want to put a deposit down on a vehicle that is landing in early May, we would aim to have it finished for you latest mid June.

Will you convert our vehicle?

Yes, we will convert your own vehicle as long as it is one of the vehicles we do (for example, Toyota Velfire or Nissan Elgrand etc) We won’t go and convert a VW or Transit because we aren’t specialists and would be more expensive than others.

What are the MPG of your campervans?

The MPG for our vehicles are as follows:

MK1 Toyota Alphard 2.4 – 25-26 MPG

MK1 Toyota Alphard 3.0 – 22 MPG

Nissan Elgrand 2.5 and 3.5 – 20-22 MPG

MK2 Toyota Alphard and Velfire 2.4 – 30-32 MPG

MK2 Toyota Alphard Hybrid – Toyota say 55 MPG but closer to 40 MPG real world

MK3 Toyota Alphard – 30-32 MPG

 

Do you do Part Exchange with my vehicle?

No, unfortunately we don’t deal in part exchange except in rare cases (for example our own vehicles)

Do you convert the car to English in the cost?

The cars will be fully converted to English within the cost, including KPH to MPH conversion, including the Odometer. You will also get an English stereo as standard with every car.

What is the road tax for these vehicles?

All of the Tax rates are the same for these vehicles:

£345 for 12 months

£189.75 for 6 months

Are these vehicles ULEZ free?

Any vehicle that we sell is ULEZ free as long as it was made on or after 2006

What are the Dimensions of your vehicles?

The Dimensions for our vehicles are as follows (all heights include pop up roof):

MK1 Toyota Alphard – Length: 4.8m    Width: 1.82m    Height: 2.05m

Nissan Elgrand – Length: 4.8m    Width: 1.8m    Height: 2.01m

MK2 Toyota Alphard and Velfire – Length: 4.85m    Width: 1.83m    Height: 2.0m

MK3 Toyota Alphard – Length: 4.92m   Width: 1.85m   Height: 2.02m
